Emma Sofia Lopez-De-Sillane
I’m a first-year medical student transferring from biochemistry at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain. I come originally from Mexico but grew up in the south of France. I joined Dr. Lagier-Tourenne´s team as a summer intern because of my growing interest in neuroscience and human diseases at molecular and genetic level. In my stay here, I will learn to use animal models to study C9ORF72-associated ALS/FTD, especially focus on the pathological and behavioral analysis. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling.
