Vincent Picher-Martel
I joined the Lagier-Tourenne lab as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in July 2023. I am originally from Canada. I moved to Boston in July 2022 and completed a clinical fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine before joining the Lagier-Tourenne lab. My current project focus on modeling ALS in induced pluripotent stem cells (IPSCs) carrying various gene mutations associated with ALS. I used an advanced microscopy imaging technic called cell painting to identify a unique disease profile seen only in ALS cells.
